SCC Warranty

All SCC products come with a 2-year parts warranty as standard.

In addition, all SCC products manufactured in the UK, along with all SCC sensor products, include an extra 1-year parts warranty, providing a total of 3 years’ coverage.

Extended warranty periods may also be available on an individual customer basis.

Where SCC technicians have carried out the install, 1-year installation cover is also given, on a back to base basis (vehicle must return to where the initial install took place).

The return process is straightforward, please complete our return request form by clicking the button below and then send back the original part(s) along with a copy of the Warranty Return Authorisation you receive via email.

This will then be tested by our engineers and replacement parts will be sent out in return. Our team are always on hand to assist with any step of this process should it be required.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

All problems caused by improper maintenance/damage of the products will be charged to the owners/operators of the vehicle.

If a call out is scheduled and the vehicle is not made available to our technicians upon arrival, the visit will be charged to the owners/operators of the vehicle at our standard daily rate.

If no faults are found upon investigation, this could be liable to be charged back to the owner/operator unless previous proof of faults can be evidenced.

If a ‘fault’ is reported that proves to be a misunderstanding of how the systems are designed to work, the call out will be charged at our standard daily rate.

Any replacement parts outside of their parts warranty cover period will be charged at full invoice value.

Any vehicles outside of their labour warranty cover period will be subject to our standard labour rates.

Any replacement parts will be charged at full invoice value if, when the returned faulty part has been tested, there proves to be nothing wrong with the part.

If our engineers are called to fix an issue deemed to be a result of improper installation that proves to have been properly installed, the call out will be charged at our standard daily rate.
